Sharpening tungsten electrodes on a budget

I think it was on sale last week in Houston for $19.95 and I walked right by it. Good idea.

I use the mini bench grinder from Harbor Freight that I paid less than $25 for. It sharpens the tungstens nice and quick and it takes very little room.

Since I originally brought up the small hf bench grinder thing, maybe I should get one lol. Maybe I'll go there tomarrow. I've been using a non dedicated belt sander and I know I need something dedicated.

another thing when grinding Thoriated (red Band) Tungsten wear a respirator the dust is radioactive and will cause cancer when ingested

I use a dremel, a bench grinder would be nice but I have no money for that yet.

The missus still wants one of their 4" table saws since it's "cute". I didn't poke fun, at least it was a power tool this time.

I saw someone trying similar with a grinder on the job. Their lead backhanded them before sending him home. Those little guys can really take off if they bite into something.
