You should work through this will assitance from "Longevity", get a hold of Simon and get the problem resolved.Their is nothing more than a reohstat in their, so even if the problem was or is in the pedal with an ohm meter you should be able to test it for contunuity and resistance(unplugged away from machine) at the very least and unscrew the male plug and check the pins.Do this and it may save you alot of grief, I don't think you'll get two bad pedals.
Their is an aftermarket pedal "low profile" for this machine, after you get your trouble sorted out if you want to change it, from ssc controls in Mentor Ohio.Their are people that have modified their pedals on down to a lower profile, the modification is on this forum.
