I'm not reading you the riot act, heck I just started and forget my gloves. I notice they aren't there when my hands get hot. I forgot to roll down my sleeves once and got burned on my left arm. So I was actually looking for a tip I don't know about or something...

I was welding the rocker panels on a BMW that was being restored with new ones using a spot welder and in a few places it did not catch well so I crawled underneith and was spot brazing the welds and pushing fluid brass in and it all came out in one big mass into my coveralls rolled down my arm and stopped at the croch of the elbow.I still have the scar, The other mass came down between my legs and missed my weewee.Professionals call that negative reinforcement, I call it luck.
