    Duel Flow meter

Well since the first flow meter i got had problems i decided to take the bad one apart and reuse the extra flow meter and set up a Duel Flow meter (machine and Purge) just need to go pick up a nipple and a T fitting and unscrew the flow meter on the new flowmeter and put in the nipple and then the T then thread in the 2 Flow meters to the T Fitting

A little while back I had a talk with the people from netwelding who make the flow controls for migs, and the gas savers. One of the questions was why the pressure has to be so high and how do you save gas with their system, and the answer was the jetting or orfice in regulator is calibrated to the flow needed and the pressure had to be where it was to overcome obstacles in the path like pinched hoses. That being said their should be no problem with this working until you reach the highest flow in the units and then you can change the orfice, drill it out, if you have to.Nice to see them when done.
Something I had bought to put on my 200PI was a small inline air nozzle that goes on an air hose before the quick connector, just unhook the tool and press the button and you have an air nozzle when working with air tools, but I pulled off the rubber end and it has a barb, and thought it would be good for making argon adjustments, and a purge because their is no bleed down at the machine and you have to crank up the post flow and go tap on the pedal to set the argon flow, with the nozzle you can just bleed off abit to make the bubble rise. Will see if i can get a pic.

    used a T and a nipple
Would be nice if longevity would have CFH measurements printed on the tube instead of LPH
and a scale for Helium and for Argon

works pretty good only difference between using a gas Y fitting after the flow meter and using the Duel flow meters is that you now can set flow for both machine and purge and know what it is flowing at either line
