well i didnt feel like paying the $60-90 $ for the adapter so i already had the tap for the 7/8 LH threads and some block alum laying around i will be remaking this in copper or brass when i get my hands on some scrap stock .. this would not be cost effective for anyone that does not already have the tap as the tap is about $60-70$ i had one for cleaning up threads on machine fittings

ok i'm pretty mechanically inclined but i'm confused..... is just an inline adapter or is there a soulenoid involved? i'm not understanding the term power adapter?

the power lug on the top of the block is the power from the machine then the left side is bored and taped for a 7/8 LH thread for the weldcraft power cable which is also the water return line then the other side of the block is bored and taped for a barbed fitting so it can then be connect to the inlet on the water cooler
in short it allows you to use weldcraft standard threaded Torch power cables with a machine that does not have hookups for the weldcraft Torch power cable
iirc a machine with dinse or lugs connectors on the front

Nice job! I had thought about doing that when I got my Longevity tig weld 200 dx but I ended up liking the torch that came with it with the toggle on the torch. Its priceless welding upside down in a car.

if i wanted to i could put a switch on the torch handle
i just happen to have a surplus of weldcraft stuff since its what i have been using for 14 years
plus i dont like the bulky cables and torch on the longevity
