    DIY tungston sharpener

Here is a sharpener I made for the tig electrodes. It’s a HF trim router with a 2” sandinh disc. Works great, sharpening at the 6 and 12 oclock positions cuts straight lines on the electrode. check out youtube video

Extremely well thought out. More photos of the mounting straps would be greatly beneficial. Simple, effective, safe. (Beyond those grinding thorium... lol. )
Full hand tool assortment, collecting sheet metal hammers/dollies, more time than money.

Looks like something a simple strap mechanism will hold rock solid, not to mention it's a tungsten only grinder, so no contamination. ^_^

Tom, I am lazy and would probably use a piece of stock with a slot under it for a big stainless hose clamp in the front instead of fabricating that front clamp as you did.

Hi Tom, I am a retired technology professional (Integrated Circuit manufacturing, Equipment engineering and Information Technology) but my roots and current space time coordinates are a "poor" farming and ranching. There was always a hose clamp or bailing wire solution for nearly every problem. That is why I think that way. MY Grand Dad even used bailing wire for Oxy / Acetylene welding filler rod.
