200DX Torch Question...

I just purchased a 200DX TIG Welder and it came with a wp-20 water cooled torch,
My question is...can a feller use it without water going through it?
I don't have a water cooler yet but still want to play with it...

Thanks Simon...I'll call...
Question...can a feller use a cooling agent that won't freeze?
I'm not to keen on these coolers...
This thing is out in a un heated shop and it gets way below freezing at times...

Based on the manufacturer of this cooler, it states to use water. I have put in an email to the factory and hopefully, they can answer this for us!

you can run rv antifreeze in it the pink stuff not the stuff for automotive

propylene glycol or extended life antifreeze or environmental anti-freeze or RV anti-freeze..... its all the same.... might also say "specifically formulated for aluminum engine blocks"

the green stuff is ethylene glycol and WILL corrode the guts of the cooler, while the pink stuff (as wookie says it) wont.... it's also a bit more expensive
