Told my boss I was gonna use the tig welder in the evenings and on the weekend to practice/learn to weld aluminum, he said just go now and practice on company time 8 to 10 hours he was willing to pay me for to get some experience. The owner also said he will foot the whole bill for the Lincoln week long tig welding class. Here's my best welds so far, had 2 more samples on 1/8th inch material but my boss took them to show the owner. This is 1/4" material

I welded on both sides, got my settings/speed right on the other side so nothing I want to show. The material was 1/4" thick
