What grinding disc for tungstens?

Wear a dust mask for the thoriated electrodes, they are mildly radioactive.

I spin the tungsten in my fingers while it's on the grinding wheel. Is this adequate or should I spin it in a drill?

the slower the spin the straighter the grind lines which is better. Hand turning is probably better than in a drill.

I use a HF 5" grinder.It seems to work good,but as was said before,it is getting a groove in the center.Probably because it's been a while since I have Tig welded and I keep contaminating my tungsten, and because i'm rusty.
