    Hey Jesse,
Thanks for letting me know about the 200. I sent you a PM but I forgot to ask, is there any way to get an electronic copy of the owners manual to look through? Thanks again.

    HI Guys,

We reviewed our MIG pricing on the site and have reduced our sales prices. Please check to see the difference. We understand Miller offers a lot for the money, and we want to make sure we are not at their price point with MIG equipment. The manuals we have coming will be informative and also we will introduce two new mig units in 2-3 weeks which do feature pulse controls.

Thanks for the info. I did notice a difference in price on the 205 earlier today. I'm unfamiliar with the benefit of pulse control. Can anyone educate me? I'm still undecided on which direction to go but I'm seriously considering Longevity rather than the Miller, especially since I should be able to get consumables locally. The 20% discount for being a Twitter follower, does that go for the spool gun as well? That is still a REAL expensive spool gun but I definitely need one. Thanks again for the update.

    Hi Will,

The Pulse control basically allows you to pulsate a weld. This jumps your amps up and down so you do not overheat your puddle. In the old days, people would pressure their pedal differently to get a difference in power from the torch.

We still have that discount going i believe. The spool gun is top quality and miller has used similar guns as us in the past.

    Will,
Keep in mind if you participate in the try before you buy program you will occasionally be offered free consumables. That's another way to cut cost.

I would be curious to see the differences from the Miller Millermatics and Longevity WeldPros as far as features, capabilities, and customer satisfaction. Im already sold on the longevity brand, but have never used a Miller. I have tried Longevity Plasma and Arc so far, but not MIG. I have thought about buying a MIG. Any users have any feedback on the latest models?

I know this is an old post but it was still on page 1 so adding to it should not be that bad of a crime

the model names being used these days are very misleading, you have to look at real output spec to compare.
the common number used for mig output in the past was @60% duty cycle

the 211 is not a 200 amp machine, it is rated at 100amps @ 60% duty cycle on 230v and a dismal 50amps @ 60% duty on 120v. at best this is a 100amp machine
to get a real 200 amp in a miller mig you need to look at 251 252 millermatic.
the spool gun for a miller 251 (I own a 251) is over $1000 here in BC Canada. which is pretty close to the cost of a longevity TIG (which is why I bought one )

quickly looking at the specs for current longevity 200 migs they are 160amp @ 60% rated.
a comperable output in a miller mig is the 212 which list price is $2000+usd Millermatic® 212 Auto-Set
    Miller 251 mig,Protools105hd bender,Makita 12" drycut saw,Dewalt portaband,General drillpress,chinese mill/drill
just recieved a Longevity 200dx TIG, I have no clue on how to use it
