Perhaps I should further clarify .035 with shielding gas, not flux core.

I've used .035 wire, I am by no means a pro but I had no problems. It fed fine and seemed to lay a good bead with 75/25. I have a question similar but may be worthy of its own thread:
How do you feed anything smaller than .030 wire? The feed roller has only 2 grooves .8 (.030) and 1.0 (.035) I was trying to use some .023 for some light sheet metal work and it wouldn't feed.
Anyone?
I plan on having the feed roller spun with a 3rd groove to feed the .023 and .025 wire sizes.
Hi Iguanamafia and welcome to the forum. We like pictures here so be sure to include some showing your work. Also, keep an eye out for the next contest here. The odds of winning a great new Longevity machine are very good. When you get a chance please post a bit about yourself in the Introduce Yourself forum so we can get to know you.
