I'll have to try one of those gold lens in my jackson fixed shade helmet, because i can't see out the one i have now.I use my Miller Digital Elite strictly for tig because it is clean welding, but i use the jackson for mig and stick, because of weld splatter.Don't want to mess up my expensive helmet with flying hot molten metal.

X2 Gilly. Mig gets the fixed shade helmet for me too. I don't mind how it looks and the cover lenses for the fixed shades are pretty cheap. I don't want to subject a nice AD helmet to spatter either.

Did anyone figure out what happened to the thing? I'd like to know the cause of the problem if you find one. Also, any idea when I will get my helmet?
    Thanks,
    James
