the nexgen is a great lid with only one problem.... ima tall fella and the throat guard is toooooo short and i get the "nuclear sunburn" on my adam's apple... thats why my preference is the miller digital elite....

LONGEVITY is launching a new line of welding helmets called the PowerView series. The PowerView Elite is our fist model in the line. which for me is a instant no sale
and the what you have pictured is only a two sensor not a four

The power view elite looks nice. Can I assume you will have them at Fabtech?

The 2 vs 4 sensor is an interesting point. My trusty old speedglas and the 9000 series have only two also. I have on rare occasion been blasted when the weld arc cast a shadow on the hood while reaching though a weldment. Something to consider whether you are doing benchwork or crawling through a hot maze of steel.

The weight of it is 1lb and 4oz with the ADF. and the viewing area is 4 1/2 by 5 1/4 viewing window. We also have a larger viewing area version coming.

i also only count 2 sensors. other than weight, what are the specifics, like shade range, sensitivity range, lens closing speed and does it have a grind mode, a magnetic sensing mode for outdoor use with low amp tig. battery back up power? if so, what style of batteries, battery life.... what about cutting mode as well for use with flame torch as well as plasma

whats the larger view going to be? the only reason I wouldent get one of your helmets is I plan to use a Full helmet positive air unit with auto dark mask from 3m. I have enough fumes from odds and ends around the farm that I wil have a full suit for some of what I do. I am also prepairing a foundry/forge for smithing and a fiew other odds and ends that it would save time for me to have a conditioned/filtered suit to work in for all.

I'll have to check the sizes of my lenses on my helmets. I have longevity and a Jackson but the Jackson is not an auto hood. I would like all my helmets to take the standard outer cover lens.
