    Opinion

Recently i was sent a msg saying how i was going to be moderated and watched. When i looked into why i found out that it was because i was being hones about some peoples projects and i am a profesional trying to help people with some ideas and my own PERSONAL views. This is not right that i cant say what i want. I am probaly goin to get into more trouble but hey i can prove that i am a profesional with pictures of my welding. I think that everyone should be able to speak there mind and that it should not be moderated for the most part. Why does it seem as if they are trying to shut me up? Just my OPINION. Again i can prove i know what i am talking about and can answer most any question.

    June,
I think your comments on your previous posts were a bit caustic. Constructive criticism is welcome here but you appeared to be finding fault with everything and seemed to be blaming the Longevity line for much of the issues in spite of never having used one.
I have approved your post which will place you back in the registered users group.
If you don't like a weld at least try to explain what could help the individual in making the weld better next time and I don't mean by telling them to get a Miller or Lincoln.
You are entitled to your opinions but we are entitled to have a forum that is informative and non inflammatory and will take the action needed to keep our forum friendly and helpful.
My approval of your post and your registered member status may be reviewed by Longevity and reversed, it is up to them.
I hope you decide to play friendly, it sounds like you have much to contribute.

    June,
I have been fairly critical on this forum of the Longevity website. I have done it by pointing out specifics that they could fix. I still think that their site needs work. Hopefully it gets fixed when they update the site with their new products. I think as long as you provide advice along with criticism you will be set. (like Dan said) Nobody likes trolls. Urban Dictionary: trolling

    Eric,
your criticism is very helpful and appreciated. Simon is working hard to insure the website is easy to navigate and is accurate, your feedback helps him find any errors.
The kind of "my welder is better than your welder" stuff Junes was spouting will destroy the great atmosphere we have here will not be tolerated.
I will never delete any posts of Longevity users with a problem but someone who has never used a Longevity unit trying to trash the line is another story.

    HI,

I have the same problem when I post on websites in my own area of expertise, I just don't mix well with semi-pros and wannabe's.

At work we don't pussyfoot around, crap is crap and I let them know.
But its difficult on the internet.
It requires a bit of ...diplomacy.

Diplomacy: The art of letting them have it my way.

I don't mind if my welding is called crap because thats what it is, I'm not a welder, but in my own line of work I'm good. Real good.

I'm starting to learn an appreciation for good welding , its not apparent to the untrained eye.

Most of Junes first posts were critical without offering any advice on how to improve. Now he can still be critical but he also offers good advice along with it.
