Forum spell check function not working

The spell check function in the message editor is not working (it throws an "Object expected" Javascript error). I don't think it's on my end because I'm a member of another vBulletin forum and the spell check function there is working fine on my PC.

(That forum is using vBulletin Version 3.5.4 and this forum is using vBulletin Version 3.8.1)

We will try updating the spell check function. I believe the version installed is not compatible with the 3.8v forum. Let me see what we can do.

    Thanks

Any progress on this? I rarely have problems with my spelling, but I like to be able to quickly review my posts for typos before I submit them. The very low standard of English language these days annoys the heck out of me. So I don't want to be a hypocrite and contribute to the problem.

Use Google Chrome as your browser, it will check the spelling and underline misspelled words on the fly. That's what I use anyway.
