Moving images from post to gallery

Is there a way to move images directly from my posts to my gallery.

If there is I've never been able to find it. I think you just have to reload the images to the gallery.

I haven't found one either, and if Gadget doesn't know, then I'm betting there isn't a way.

How about moving images from our albums to our galleries? I'd like to slide them over without having to upload them again. Is it possible?

Albums was a function of a much earlier version of the board software. It's still supported but there's no way to move images outside of the album section. These three methods of uploading photos (in posts, Albums, and Galleries) are all add-ons that don't really integrate with the main forum program fully which is why there is no option to move from one to another. Kind of a pain but that's the way it is. I'll send a message to the developers to see if they can find a way to integrate the three.

Thanks for the explanation. Just thought there might have been a button somewhere you click on and it's done.

when updating my plasma build, i post the photos in the post, and I also upload them to my gallery/album.

you could upload the photos to your gallery then link to them or embed them within your post, you'll still have to click back and forth between the post and gallery though.

i think it stems from vbulletin using add-on packages..

Bruce, you are correct in your add on theory. One note, you can link to a photo in the gallery in a forum post but the image shows up as a thumbnail that you have to click on to see full sized. Not the best way of putting images in your posts.

you know, it seems like vbulletin would/could add the code to do that... doesnt seem like that would be to difficult, although definitely over my head..

it would kind of be like facebook profile pictures when you think about it..
