    editing posts

I found out the hard way the other day about the five minute time limit on editing your post.
I typed this long addition I was going to add to my post. Hit the save button and got the message that I have exceeded the time limit, and all my hard typing work was gone, I can use five minutes up just correcting typing errors. I think it would be nice to have a longer edit time limit. Now if I was a faster typist.....

    Nicholas:
I know the frustration you are referring to. It seems to take me longer to correct my typos than to enter them in the first place, and even though it isn't a high-school spelling bee, I really hate having errors in my posts.
You probably already thought of this, but you could try composing your posts, or edits in "Word", or (whatever word processor you use) off-line first, till you get the result you want, then bring up the thread you want to edit, and paste the correction into it. - Just a thought.
    Cheers,

I will go ahead and add 25 minutes so a total of 30 minutes to edit a post. That should help.

Art, that,s a good idea about using "Word". Even with the additional edit time I still may need to do that.

If I'm typing a long post, I highlight and copy the post before posting it. If there's a time limit issue "Which happens often" I can just go back, Paste and Post!
