    well the engine drive i had siezed so i scrapped it for the copper now i am shopping for a diesel drive

    You and me both. I want one I can hit an ignition on rather than throwing a shoulder out. Hell, by the time you get mine to crank you are too daggum tired to weld.

    i believe that ever thought about using like a 5 horse motor to pilot start it ? with like pulley ?

    Well, to tell you the truth I have BUT I didn't want to do any serious mods to it that would take away from the "antiqueness" of it. It is a 50's model and rather ol skool. That is one of the reasons I bought it in the first place. I want to clean it up and re-paint it so it can be in its original glorious state. It works like a champ once you get the daggum thing started.

    i am sure you can machine up a pulley to ride on the shaft and key way and keep it stock and not harm the value

    Painted just need to take it down and have some bed liner sprayed on the deck




    This is how the bottle clamps work 5/8 bolt and nut to a section of 10 inch pipe

    Heck,i would have to install a Tommy Lift to get the bottles up in the bottle clamps.I hate getting old.It's a great set up though,and nice job on the trailer.
