    Rear engine tube-frame

I got it out of the garage! Woo hoo! most of the welding has been done with a harbor freight MIG welder, but the plasma cuts were done with the 416D unit. I also used the 416D to TIG the a-arms for the front suspension.

The car is going to be this eventually: http://www.grabercars.com

    Looks good,
What are you going to do for a body?
Do you have an estimate on the time spent so far?

    Re: Rear engine tube-frame

You can see all of the details of the bodywork at http://www.grabercars.com

As for time spent so far...sheesh, ALOT! It's been a little over a year in the making so far. Now, I'm not a metal worker by trait so I've had to learn a lot along the way and purchase a lot of tools as well so that has slowed things down. Honestly, at this point , I could probably start from scratch again and be back to this point in 2 months time easily.

The engine is a 4AGZE from a supercharged Toyota MR2
The target weight for the car is ~1500pounds.
It will have no doors and be open top. The car is low though you can just step into it with no trouble.

That thing looks like serious fun. - especially with the MR2 engine. - - Any idea how it will compare with the Aerial Atom?
