I confess. Saw one like this somewhere on the internet and copied it. Thanks to the original artist. Only welding is the base I made to put on the roof. Made it so I can switch out those silly guys I make. Got tired of fastening them to the chimney.
Dang it. Didn't even use my sweet 40 on this one. My wife loves it anyway...

It is chain, painted red, hanging with mig wire... Probably a little heavy for a wind chime. At least I hope we don't get that kinda wind...Always fun to see what you stick on the roof next. ^_^ Wind chime? What's it comprised of?

Update on chain heart: Very windy today. Noticed the chains are sorta banging into each other so, though I can't hear them, I suppose they now are a wind "clunk" not much ringing... You know what chains banging together sound like: Clunk...Always fun to see what you stick on the roof next. ^_^ Wind chime? What's it comprised of?

Have to agree on not wanting to actually hear them chime. You'd have to get in the car to track down the rest of the roof.
