History

In 1885, Nikolai Benardos and Stanislav Olszewski were granted a patent for an electric arc welder with a carbon electrode called the Electrogefest. Nikolai Benardos (Russia) and Stanislav Olszewski (Poland) are considered the inventors of modern Welding apparatus.
In 2004, Longevity introduced small portable inverter Plasma Cutters, welders and never before seen combination plasma cutting/welding machines that have taken the industry by storm. Our plasma cutters and welders were not only lighter in weight, less than the size of a microwave, but also more powerful than the competition offered at fraction of the price. Longevity made welding equipment affordable to all and quickly became one of the biggest imported welder companies in the United States. Longevity is an owner operated company that realizes the importance of customer satisfaction and the production of top quality products.
In 2008, Longevity was recognized by www.business.com and www.weldingweb.com as an alternative supplier to the welding industry. In fact, we are continuously impacting the industry by offering a pricing structure and quality that has never been achieved by competitors!
IIn 2009, Longevity offered new and improved welding technology with the Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor (IGBT) versus the Metal Oxide Semi-conductor Field Effect Transistor (MOSFET). Currently, Longevity Welding Equipment will contain both Mosfet and IGBT technology with the same unmatched warranty of 5 years.
