The WeldAll 160PI features a 40AMP Plasma Cutter with a cut rating of 1/2." The 160PI also has a built in (AC/DC) TIG/ARC Welder with AC and DC PULSE Control. The WeldAll PI series features Pilot Arc starting technology allowing for continuous ARC starting without having to make contact with the torch to the workpiece to strike or maintain an arc.The LONGEVITY WeldAll 160PI is a nice addition to the LONGEVITY IGBT welder line capable of standing up to true industrial or commercial use. With the160PI, you have a plasma cutter and TIG/STICK welder built into one combination welding machine resulting in a unit that can cut and weld every type of metal such as cutting and welding aluminum, stainless steel, mild steel, bronze, copper, alloy, Iron, Cobalt, Nickel, Copper, Zinc, platinum, titanium, silver, and other metals. The plasma cutter is one of the most advanced metal cutting methods ever produced. The LONGEVITY plasma cutter in the WeldAll PI series has greatly improved because it allows for a continuous Pilot Arc non High Frequency start making it more suitable for CNC Tables and other automated cutting machines. This machine cuts aluminum cleaner and thicker than other plasma cutters because it allows you to make your cut in AC! Pilot Arc plasma cutter starting technology allows you to start and maintain an ARC as long as the trigger is pressed. This ARC is a similar to the ARC you will see from an oxy fuel cutting torch. In addition, you are able to hook these torches up to CNC machines because contact with the workpiece and the tip of the torch is not required. Also because there the starting technology is not High Frequency, your plasma cutter does not interfere with CNC Computers. Pilot Arc torches also have longer consumable life because you can maintain a distance when starting an arc.
